Jorge Valdés Kroff is director of the Bilingual Sentence Processing Lab. His research focuses on the psycholinguistics of bilingual code-switching, especial in auditory comprehension. His work primarily uses the eye-tracking technique in both written and auditory domains. Currently, he is investigating predictive processing in code-switched contexts.

Amelia Dietrich

The Forum on Education Abroad

After competing her Ph.D. in Spanish and Language Science, Amelia Dietrich joined the staff of The Forum on Education Abroad as a Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow. She is now the Director for Research and Resources at The Forum and, in that role, serves as the Managing Editor of Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad. Amelia regularly writes for academic and industry publications on topics including student health and safety abroad, education abroad best practices, the history of U.S. education abroad. Her work has appeared in the Routledge Handbook for Study Abroad Research and Practice and the Journal of American College Health. She has given presentations and workshops on international education across the U.S., as well as in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Canada, Mexico, and Australia.
